Nick is head of the Asia One Delta and Execution Services Strats businesses. Previously, he worked as a strat in both the One Delta Shares and Program Trading businesses, designing and building automated execution strategies for the firm and its clients. Nick joined Goldman Sachs in 2006 as an analyst in New York, relocated to Hong Kong in 2010 and was named managing director in 2015.

Nick earned a BA in Economics and Computer Science from Duke University in 2006.

Ian is head of Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET) in Asia Pacific. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2013.

Prior to joining the firm, Ian was head of Execution Trading in Asia Pacific at Citigroup. Previously, he held various leadership positions in AES Product and Algorithmic Development at Credit Suisse.

Ian holds a Master of International Economics from Anglia Business and Management School in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Professor of Practice in Finance

Anna Wai-Kwan WONG received B.A. from the University of Hong Kong, M.B.A. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Juris Doctor from the University of Hong Kong.

Anna has an extensive experience in banking and finance. She had worked in major financial institutions including Citigroup, HSBC, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas and the Chase Manhattan Bank, covering private banking, asset management, securities brokerage, corporate and commercial banking, credit and risk management. She was the Head of Private Bank, Greater China at Credit Suisse and the CEO of HSBC Broking Services (Asia) Limited. She had held Executive Officer/Responsible Officer position of various financial institutions covering type 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 licensed activities. Anna had extensive experience in dealing with regulators in her different capacities.

Anna joined the School of Economics and Finance of the University of Hong Kong as Professor of Practice in Finance in July 2017 and is the program co-ordinator for the Bachelor of Finance in Asset Management and Private Banking [BFIN(AMPB)]. Prior to her joining SEF, Anna was and currently still is a part time lecturer at the Law Faculty of the University of Hong Kong convening two courses in LLM – Compliance and Regulations. She is a trainer at the Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute running courses relating to private wealth management and the local regulatory framework.

Anna is a Senior Fellow of the HK Securities & Investment Institute, an Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, a Chapter Honoree of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, a temporary member of the Financial Reporting Council and a Director of the Hong Kong Sports Institute. Her previous appointments included member of the Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission, member of Securities and Futures Appeal Tribunal, Director of the Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute and Director of the Hong Kong Securities Association Limited.

Amol Mhatre joined Willis Towers Watson in November 2017 as the integrated solutions leader in the human capital and benefits business. He is responsible for ensuring firm’s solutions and services address the current and emerging needs of companies around talent and benefits strategies, and related business risks.

Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson Amol was a senior partner at Aon, and has been in various leadership and strategy roles for over twenty years in international consultancies. He has worked with many multinational companies around the world to help develop and implement pension and benefits design, financing and risk management strategies, as well as governance of rewards programmes. He was the architect of two landmark studies with American Benefits Institute on the topic of global benefits and risk governance, has published several articles and position papers on the topic, and is a frequent speaker at events.

Dr. Richard Li founded Cherubim Enterprise Solutions Ltd. (CES) in 2002 and led the company to provide professional IT services including Intelligent Lean Supply Chain Solutions, Business Intelligent and Data Mining Solutions, Retail POS/ERP Solutions, etc.

The current core business of CES is to provide Lean Retail Solutions to help retailers to fine tune their strategy across the entire value chain, so that the retailers can have a full control on their product life cycle and streamlined processes for making accurate business decisions in order to improve stock efficiency, sales performance, cash flow, and profitability.

After more than a decade's development, CES had served various retailers in different segments including watch and fine jewelry, fashion and clothing, cosmetics and skin care, etc. Some of the loyal customers are: Chanel (AP + GC), Chow Tai Fook, Cosmolady, Hong Kong Loreal Group, Crocodile, Chicks, Oregon Scientific, etc.

In 2012, Dr. Richard Li was invited as guest lecturer at City University as a master's degree course in Multi-Dimensional Data Modeling for Strategic Planning and Analysis.

Dr. Richard Li hold a PhD degree in computing area and his research interest is on business optimizations and machine learning.

In his capacity as Area Director for Greater China, Ewan currently heads up Meltwater’s offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong, overseeing business development and operations in the region.

Ewan’s diverse career with the organisation began in Edinburgh in 2009 where he was promoted to Manager, seven months after joining the company as a Consultant.

Subsequently, Ewan was transferred to Cape Town witnessing the growth of the thriving African market. In one year, Ewan fast-tracked to the Managing Director position and was tasked with developing a new division in India. Within a year in New Delhi, he successfully built an eight-person team from scratch while developing new product and recruitment strategies to drive the team’s business goals.

In his career across continents, Ewan has witnessed the disruption of social media, and the growing importance of media intelligence in the digital age. His wealth of experience in emerging markets has enabled Meltwater’s rapid growth in Greater China, especially with China's evolution as an online powerhouse. He is dedicated to help clients in the region to establish a competitive edge in their respective markets with the use of data analytics.

London born, Scottish-bred, Ewan has a Masters in Economics and Economic History from the University of Edinburgh.
